Fiddler on the roof.

Clickychick was going out to a regular Wednesday morning commitment, I helped carry things down to the car for her.  On the way back I noticed this Pheasant on nextdoors roof.  I have never seen a Pheasant perch on a house roof, in trees to roost yes, low down such as on a garage roof as well but never as high and in the open.

It seemed quite relaxed pottering about examining the moss and occasionally eating something.  I nipped in side grabbed the camera and back out.  The story of my life, wrong lens.  I took a few just in case shots and went to change the lens again.  Fortunately, it decided being so far away I was no threat and continued with its exploration.
