Its a wrap...

Woke up to torrential rain and knew we'd made the right decision not to go to Edinburgh.  

Early lunch then I spent the afternoon wrapping Christmas pressies.  Given that the majority of gifts are vouchers this year, there still seemed a lot to wrap!  But it's all done apart from Esme's bundle as I am waiting for a gift bag that everything will fit in, to be delivered.  

Dinner while watching last week's Portrait Artist of the Year final.  The right artist won :-)  Will watch the episode of her commissioned painting being revealed tomorrow night.

D contacted Alan's Gastro consultant's secretary again today, to find out if we can start his steroid treatment for colitis earlier than Christmas Eve (when it was due to start) Still waiting for an answer. He had some stronger painkillers today so was a little but brighter, but he still has little energy and is fed up.  Understandable.
