Sundown

A good and full day starting with singing at Hazelbeck Special school. Always an event of absolute exuberant joy!  Totally uplifting.
There were 96 singers which shows what a popular occasion this is. Next year is booked already.

We then headed over to Guiseley for a quick M&S shop, calling in at Morrisons on the way. It was rammed, we could barely find a parking space! It’s still more than a week away!
Thank fully M&S wasn’t too bad and we got some sandwiches to take to my friends for lunch as she’s just moved into her very nice new house not far away.

We left as the sun was going down and I caught a couple of pictures out of the car window as we crossed Bingley Moor.

When we got home it was time to walk up to the pub for our early Wednesday evening drinks with friend. They were all waiting outside as the only sign of life was a lit Christmas tree in the window. After about 5 minutes a taxi drew up and out popped our bar maid. A great relief, it was getting a bit chilly out there!
