Gliding home

Saw these ducks swimming across the river as the light faded this afternoon. The water was flat calm and the temperature was in double figures. 

I had four goody bags to deliver to neighbours. The girls were here this morning and they helped me though we only found two recipients in. This afternoon I delivered the other two. People are so delighted and grateful. They're always anxious that their thanks are passed on. There should be a good number of people enjoying a drop scone with home made jam and other treats today. 

Enjoying some quiet time now and eagerly anticipating a curry for dinner.
