More jumping for joy…

because the sun is shining!

Grace and John got out fairly early for a run whilst the weather was bright and fairly benign.
They ran up and over Little Solsbury Hill, down into Charmy Vale and then up into Charmy Down where this was taken. For some reason Grace has always wanted to stand on a bale of hay! They returned back up Solsbury Hill and home.

We looked after Jude who dressed herself and asked for the record of The Snowman putting on so she could dance to ‘Walking in the Air’, she loves music ( it is a vinyl LP with dialog from Bernard Cribbins) They are into vinyl old and new, Grace bought a double album of Jamie Cullen’s Christmas songs on her recent visit to see him at the Royal Albert Hall.

Eda was still in bed and was a bit put out when we pulled her curtains back at nearly 11.00 am!

Granny Sue came for lunch and then Eda got a message inviting her across to her friend Madeleine’s who was just back visiting family in London.

We went to collect Eda later, taking Jude with us and we ladies all had hot chocolate and Baileys while Geoff took some beers across to Grace and John’s for a mens get together!

In the end we all returned to Grace's for supper and the girls have only just got to bed and it’s 10.00pm. It will be another late lie in tomorrow!

Inevitably the rain did return later but it was nice to see some sun this morning. Good news too this afternoon I’ve got my refund from GWR for the rail tickets we were unable to use for London because of the rail strike earlier in the month.

I wasn’t on the run so didn’t take the shot but I liked it so I’m afraid I stole it for my blip
