A Tiny Wonderful Gift

We have had a busy and productive day. I heard Momma moving about around 5:30 am. Since my sister and I went to bed pretty late, I tried not to wake her up. Momma and I came out for a cup of coffee and toast. The Paxlovid and Muscinex are working their magic. Momma has been awake and busy most of the day. She took a nap this afternoon. We only let her supervise and work on her mail. We matched container and lids for every piece of plastic she owns. We discarded the rest. We found photos in frames to hang, laundry to finish, etc. I made a meatloaf for dinner and added cabbage and tomatoes to Kristen’s soup (that we enjoyed for lunch). It felt really nice to help our mother organize things. And it made her happy whereas she’s been unhappy about being “useless”. A great day. This miniature orchid was a gift to our mother from a family friend. It has bloomed continuously for months. It has brought our mother so much joy. She waters it with one ice cube every Wednesday. Hoping you had a fine day. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. “An enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health. It is a captivating purple, one that draws you in with its beguiling charm.” - Leatrice Eiseman
