Pasque

Easter Sunday is 5 weeks away today.  Very early this year on the 31st March.
In preparation these Pasque flower buds are pushing their way up amongst the spent snowdrops. It’s only a few weeks ago that last year’s growth was cut right back to allow light to the emerging snowdrops. In the garden things move forward all the time. 
This morning these caught my eye as the early frost and mist had left droplets sparkling on the hairy buds. I hope they have got their timing right for the early Easter to come but they will be welcome whenever they arrive.
