Blind Mouse

This is one of the three blind mice. The problem is that when I bought it at a shop in Tubac, it was the only blind mouse they had. Made of scrap metal, it sits in my front yard with rocks on its tail to keep it from blowing away. I’ve had it for years so it’s fairly weatherworn and I doubt that passersby know what it’s supposed to be. It’s pretty silly to be there without its brothers.

I attended the singles meeting this afternoon. The meanie who usually runs the meetings wasn’t there. She was deposed!! It made things quite nice. I got stuck as the temporary secretary. Every time I suggested an activity I ended up in charge of it, too. I don’t want so many responsibilities. After the meeting, four of us went out for an early dinner. Good company.

In other news…It’s very nice out today, probably mid-70’s but the wind has been strong - just enough to create a bit of a chill.
