Where Snails Go To Die?

We got some blue skies this morning ....... and a touch of colour in the evening - and to prove it there are some shots over here.

The ex-snail is inside a brick that forms the windowsill of out downstairs loo.

When I went to the shop this morning the slight rattle from the exhaust which started yesterday (we found a pothole hidden inside an unavoidable puddle yesterday) was a bit worse.
By the time SWMBO and I had gone to post our passport applications it was quite severe and I began to suspect suspension as it was getting worse ... a lot worse.
We stopped of at a local garage - it took 5 minutes to sort it. It turned out that a heat shield had broken, so he removed it. However, if it is be be replaced I will need to take it back to the dealer (he said that personally, he wouldn't bother). I will give them a ring on Monday.

There was a bit of turning done in the afternoon and a trip to M&S this evening to get a boot-full of food stuff for The Larder (the bloke said it wasn't much this week so Lord only knows how much they normally have).
