Great Day

And beautiful sunny weather! I met a couple of friends in North Portland and enjoyed a tour of his new garden. He’s a plant collector so his garden is very diverse. He has quite a collection of unusual plants and bulbs in pots where they can overwinter without getting too wet. I was fascinated with this “Naked Man Orchid” or Orchis italica - look closely and you’ll understand the common name.

I played golf this afternoon- my elbow got a bit sore by the 9th hole but all in all I felt pretty good!

I ordered a pizza from the Grill at the course - they make terrific wood fired pizza. I had intended to take it home but ended up sitting with friends and eating it. Fun time!
