Marjorie's ramblings

April showers….

Drip, drip, drop, little April shower…..

It rained a lot overnight. Then it eased off.

Kate called for a mid morning cuppa and we had a good chat. Mainly about caring etc.

The forecast was for showers over lunchtime. By 3 the sky was lighter and the rain had stopped. I drove to Wark to do the wildflower route again.

Then it drizzled, then it rained, eased, then rained heavily. It wasn’t cold so it was quite liberating, but a big test of the waterproofs.

I saw this dramatic sky as I toiled up the steepest hill on the route.

I also saw my first bluebells of the season.

Home for a hot shower and complete change of clothes!
