Wood Anemone

Anemone nemorosa

Today was beautiful but very windy.  I therefore decided to get low down amongst plenty of trees and shrubs to calm things down, which is where I found these wood anemones.  Oh they are such pretty flowers, I love that faint blush of pink.

I also saw more butterflies, including my first speckled woods of the year, but none of them were very keen to display themselves.  They must have real problems in a high wind..

Apart from this little jaunt I haven't done a huge amount, except for trying - and failing - to get some sense out of the doctors' practice.  Ah, well..
