Cloud over Pendle.

Another birthday, Chris this time - he's older than me!, so we went over the hill to Lancashire to look for a wedding shirt for him as my birthday present to him. (He also wants a dustbin - but he can sort that out himself!)

Having just crossed the border from Yorkshire into Lancashire we got this view of Pendle Hill with cloud sitting on it. It had been very warm and quite sunny when we left home but as we were going virtually to the foot of this hill we should have known we were heading for rain.

Last time we were here we were shopping for our trip to New Zealand back in January. This was the same view then.

I do like this route and view even though it is Lancashire!
