Pond - High Summer

I've watched the irises blooming at the local pond and admired the profusion of buttercups around the edges. I decided to make this today's blip, but with a twist - or I should really say - a pinch. I gave it similar treatment to yesterday cranes photo because I was intrigued to see how the pinch distortion worked with a natural subject with already curving shapes.

I'll let you make your own judgement on whether this works as effectively as it did yesterday. It has something of the appearance of a photo taken with a fish-eye lens.
