Wound up in Wexford

Hopefully, this will be taken away when Joe comes on Friday.  He's bringing more stones - small ones to try to change the flow of the rill a bit, and some more big boulders.  And that will be the end of his job - I think he'll be glad to see the back of it.  Though he'll be back - we've decided to take out a lot more of the griselinia/laurel hedging from around the back of the garden and replace it with mixed native hedging - but that's a job for the end of this year or the beginning of next.

We have a lot of planting to do.  It was dry, but blowing a hoolie today - neither of us were tempted to spend much time outside.  W did some varnishing, I sat in the garden room and spent yet more money on plants - Farmer Gracy is having a sale!  And we have a few more trees to buy - there's a couple of reasonably local tree nurseries to check out.

And of course, the pond needs vegetation!
