Wound up in Wexford

Some flowers

This is such a new garden, that we don't yet a huge variety of different plants, but it's improving almost daily.  I was particularly pleased to see the rhododendron bud, as I had thought we weren't going to get any flowers this year.

The yellow flowers are on the Sophora protrata which travelled to Ireland via Scotland - spending a year in the care of ArcLight.  We had never seen it flowering in Norfolk - it didn't get the care it needed as it lived too far from the house.  It flowered when in her care, and I was pleased to see the flowers this spring.

Joe didn't fetch the digger in the end on Friday - but as I write this on Saturday morning, he has been, dropped off several more large boulders, and taken away the digger.

Edit: This photo was accidentally posted on 25th - it's a collage, so dateless, but the pictures were all taken on 24th, and that's where it's meant to be!  I've changed the date on it and hopefully can now post correct photo and writing on the 25th.
