We'd planned to visit Trentham Gardens today, so Jan and I set off early as rain was forecast for this afternoon. The gardens weren't as we'd imagined, fewer formal layouts but much more wilderness around the lake. The gardens were beautiful, with swathes of informal planting within a formal layout, and I loved the fairies!

We walked round the lake, we had coffee, we explored, we had lunch and we managed to get back to the car before it started raining :-)
