Time in the Mind shop this morning. I'd thought that Julie would be there even though she's got covid, but apparently she's on holiday. Just as well really. I left at 12 noon, picked peas and made my lunch, before preparing a chicken, bacon and veg pasta bake ready for my son and partner coming to dinner. I put off making the sauce until he texted, because I knew he had a visit from his daughter's social worker*.

He texted, saying that the social worker wanted to give him a lift to the office and back so she could upload all the WhatsApp messages onto her work computer. We arranged that they'd come for dinner tomorrow instead, he's got enough stress in his life without worrying that he's ruined my dinner! I finished the dish off and put it into the fridge. Then went for a walk around the block.

* this is as a result of his recent court appearance to try to have access to his daughter aged 9.
