Warmth

Licking, breathing, curling
Braided smoke and slow unfurling
Cousteau lies, absorbing heat
And Pio curled up on his seat
The warmth begins to seep on through
My clothes, my bones; I smile anew
And all the cold is long forgot
And Cousteau's flank becoming hot
I love my fire, the heat it brings
It's now one of my favourite things.

Soothed by a crackling fire. One relaxed and happy dog. School work almost completed.

Portrait shoot this afternoon.

Cougar Town on the TV.

I like school holidays.
