Here Comes Junior

Today we are finishing up the preparations for our daughter's arrival on Saturday. Raven is here giving the house a deep cleaning. I am washing linens and finishing my cleaning in Helena's area. Arvin is helping.

This afternoon I took a break. I put out more peanuts and sat in the shade on the deck, camera and long zoom lens at the ready. I focused on the bird feeder since I noticed that many times the jays land there and then slide down to the food. Sure enough. Here is one of the youngsters as he touches down on the bar holding the feeder. Living large.
