ACTION SHOT

Decided ACTION SHOT would be my brief today in the HeartFreek July Photo Challenge so had one or two reasonable shots of youngsters learning to surf, but then walked a little further along the beach and saw these children trying to balance on buckets whilst the tide came in.

It was fun to see and hear them having so much fun and I stood for some time watching them. Mum was just nearby, carefully watching her little ones - and had another very small baby in her arms - quite a handful!

One wonders if our new little Prince will ever have the opportunity to do simple, childlike things like playing on the beach and running into the sea, without photographers hounding his every movement. I do hope so! In this day and age children seem to grow up so quickly so I hope his parents can enjoy him and do the fun things that parents love doing with their children.

Mr HCB and I loved every moment of our sons growing up - not for us the cry "Oh no, they're off school for 6 weeks!" We played, laughed and enjoyed every minute of our time together and thank God for blessing us with two wonderful sons who led action-packed lives and still do.

We tried to do what it says in Proverbs 22:6:

Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
