Red Currants

No grandchildren to look after today as their Mum currently does not work on Friday, so I have spent the whole day transferring and verifying information on my family tree. By a strange coincidence I discovered that one of my ancestors died of war wounds in France and Flanders on this day back in 1916 and was buried the same day in a grave in Normandy.

I bit of a lazy blip today of some of our ripening red currants, which the birds have not yet stolen. Very warm again although it has clouded over a time or two. The weekend is here once again, so whatever you are doing; enjoy.
