Back at the Unidad for the Women's First Division Final Match tonight after receiving a phone call earlier in the day letting us know. I thought I might get some good volleyball action shots, but the court was packed with fans and I couldn't get in a good position without compromising someone's view. I set up in a corner across from the stands and concentrated on capturing emotion and expression rather than spikes and digs. The light was fading when the Avgo team needed a time out to slow a Margarita's rally. The team members were paying close attention to their coach when the sun hit this player's eyes just right, turning a so-so image into something Blip worthy. Whatever the coach told them must have worked because Avgo turned around a disastrous game one to win the next two and claim the championship.
