Lost and Found.

Mum and Dad arrived today! It had to be a Mollydog Blip... She is my only sister after all. She's got a golf ball here: stolen from the garden where M abandoned it because it's a bit 'clunky' (when you hit it, it sounds strange and seems to want to fly in a left-hand curve, which M swears is down to the ball rather than his technique). Molly seemed quite taken with it and kept hold of it for a while, every now and again dropping it on the wooden floor of the kitchen and making everyone jump.

I got into work very early (6.40am - ouch) and managed to leave at a reasonable time. Home to make up the guest room with fresh bedsheets and a nice vase of lilies. By the time Mum and Dad arrived the house was looking lovely, and we had a cup of tea and a wee chat before I got changed and we headed out for dinner. On their last visit, M and I took Mum and Dad to Nargile, a Turkish restaurant that always gets good reviews. We had a fab meal, so decided to repeat the exercise tonight (without M, he was at a Seafarer's Awareness evening with the Lord Provost). We had a gorgeous meal but I ate far, far, far too much! On our way home, we stopped off at the Braided Fig and I couldn't even fit a pint of Tennents in; I had to leave half of it behind. The bar staff must have been quite confused!

When we got home, we watched a bit of QI then it was time for bed... Tomorrow night we'll maybe try to play a game of golf if it's sunny (not using the 'clunky' - now also slobbery - golf ball)!
