Cowslip

I haven’t planned April very well. I could have done with a bit more time at home, instead I am on my travels again. No matter, what I need to do at home can wait awhile.

I stopped off at one of the better motorway service stations. The pond is full of tadpoles, marsh marigold is in flower alongside, and this solitary cowslip was inviting me to photograph it.

Friends I have not seen for many years have moved, and have invited me to stay over. I’m a bit trepidatious, but as usual all works out well. A good catch up this afternoon and evening.
