Easter eggs

Was Blipfoto down this morning? I feel I wrote all this already and then it wouldn’t load.  

Easter is so late this year that I keep thinking we’ve done it already.   Today was unexpectedly warm and I had an early walk in the woods with the dog before retreating to the home office to try and fill in a shared document for an awards submission.  `Combination of iPad, draconian firewall and weak wifi meant it was all frustrating so I took notes and headed into London. 

The car wouldn’t start.  And then it finally did but warning lights flashed on and so I drove it straight to the garage.  The boss there has been totally schmoozed by Vikram and so was happy to let me drop the car and run. It was only the battery so not a calamity but I could have been stranded. 

London was sunny and warm and springlike.  A couple of meetings in the office, worked with a super efficient office manager on the document and then walked down Carnaby St to Piccadilly Circus.  The streets were full of families enjoying holiday sunshine.  I sauntered down through Soho and caught a dignified train home. 

Picked up some fennel and made a rather delicious chicken and vegetable dish. 

Watched another episode of The Leopard.
