Easter Hare

It’s been a relaxing Easter Sunday in our household. The overcast weather and quietness out has given the day a pleasantly calm and cosy feel.

We walked at Emsworth this morning in the cold northerly wind. I was glad to return home to have a hot cup of tea to bring the life back into my numb fingers!

The overcast weather didn’t entice me out after lunch so instead I baked a couple of loaves of bread using malted brown flour. I also set up an avocado stone I’m hoping to germinate and grow into a small avocado plant - not for fruit but because they are an attractive house plant.

Later we walked Merlin in the meadow. It felt as if spring is in full swing with trees displaying their fresh green leaves, and blossoms and bird song all around - such lushness and abundance.

Wishing you all the very best this Easter Sunday.
