Central Arcade, Northallerton
I was out early this morning to take my car down for the front discs and brakes to be changed. They had started to judder when braking, a sign of slightly warped discs.
This meant I was a good hour too early for the Men's Shed so I opted for breakfast at one of the local cafes. After some fine fare I took this AvgCamPro image as I walked towards the High Street. The cyclist was added from a normal photo I took at the same time. Northallerton High Street has dozens of these alleys, ginnels or snickets as some Yorkshire folk will call them.
Once in the Men's Shed I completed the project I was doing together with another member. We came up with a design for a presentation plaque to give to a leaving member. He has been instrumental in helping establish our shed but he is moving away to be nearer family.
The other member, Chris, is very cleaver with a fret saw so wonderful framework was produced by him for me to fill with stained glass. The finished work can be seen in extras. As the recipient does not know about this Blip page it should be safe showing it today. I have removed his name from the inscription just in case..!
