It never rains on a golf course....

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

D and Adrian had a tee off time 1.52pm (why are tee times always strange?!) so the four of us headed to the golf club for 12.30pm to have lunch.  Lovely :-)

The weather forecast was light rain but it was dry as we made our way to the club. As we ate lunch the hills slowly disappeared behind a bank of cloud and the forecast rain began.  As Agnes and I enjoyed a cuppa and a scone, D and Adrian headed to the first tee.  We waited till they passed the clubhouse when I took this pic of D just after he'd taken his second shot, then Agnes and I headed back home.

A lovely relaxing afternoon of more chat and putting the word to rights.  The golfers returned having enjoyed their round and not too wet.  First outing of D's new driver.  He says they are still getting to know one another :-)

After coffee and sweet goodies (not for me, I was good :-) Agnes and Adrian headed home.  We had Aga baked potatoes for dinner (the best) and we snoozed for the rest of the evening.  Apparently snoozes before bedtime are known as nappetisers :-)))

PS Our BIL Kenny was doing the kilt walk today with our friend Keith.  When we texted them to see how they were getting on, Keith sent this pic of Kenny saying "enjoying our lunch" LOL!
