Off to Ireland

We left home at 7.30 this morning, Daughter One and I, and Mrs M drove us down to catch the 7.45am bus to Glasgow. Took my Blip in Central station! From there we caught the train to Ayr, then the bus to Cairnryan, the ferry to Belfast, the bus to Belfast station and finally the train to Dublin. Lots of waiting and walking time between them all too.  and finally booked into our hotel at 10.30pm! Phew! We could have crossed the world in that time!

A morning to spend in Dublin tomorrow, then we'll set off by train to cross Ireland to Ennis, then the bus to Doolin and a final walk up to our chalet for the next four nights. Then the fun begins!

I think 'Quote of the Day' will have to be suspended for now!
