This looks like Karpatiosorbus latifolia (broad-leaved whitebeam) .. 

Long morning call with the DroneWild team. Out in the afternoon to look at the sale at Lyon & Turnbull - lots of wonderful marquetry tables, not all in good condition; about 20 unusual military helmets, and some boots with bootjacks .. the sale is on for two days, lots of things .. 
Walked on to London Road gardens and Regent Road. The leaves were taken for tree identification. 

Grey all morning; some sunshine in the afternoon with sea haar blowing through. 12C high and and East wind.
