Life is a Challenge!

NOT ANOTHER GREENHOUSE?!

Mr HCB was up early and out watering the garden, especially all the new plants we bought a couple of weeks ago, and which he planted yesterday afternoon with minimal help from me.

He already has two greenhouses, one large glass and metal one and another which is plastic that he uses to grow cucumbers.  However, a while ago a Blip friend gave him another plastic one and he has been thinking about putting it up for a couple of years - well these things take time and as we women know, men don't often make decisions quickly!  Feel free, any male Blippers, to prove me wrong!

Today was the day he decided to put it up, so whilst I was "fiddling" in the kitchen, and having tidied the spot where he wanted this to go, he was busily putting all the pieces out and choosing the right ones, and hopefully in the right order.

I went upstairs for something and happened to see him through the landing window, so thought it would make a good Blip for today.

So here he is, a lovely triptych of Mr. HCB surveying the various bits, then a shot of him when it was in progress and the final one is him almost scratching his head because here appears to be a piece missing.

I'm not sure if it will make any difference that there is a piece missing, but he's used to that with the various jigsaws he does, and  no doubt he will think of something to hold up the cover when it goes on.  That might just be where he needs my help!! I hope we don't have any high winds when the storms come, as promised, otherwise, we could see this greenhouse go flying like a huge green kite!

You can see in the foreground on the second and third shots, all Mr. HCB's dahlias and cosmos, ready to be planted out - it's a good job he enjoys gardening!

We are now about to go out for Mr. HCB to see the audiologist at Leightons to have his ears syringed and then he is taking me out for lunch at Jack's, so I'm looking forward to that - no cooking for me this evening!

I think it's fair to say I have been a bit down lately, mainly because I am so reliant on others to get me to different places - and although Mr. HCB says he is happy to take me anywhere I want to go, I don't feel happy always asking him.  However, having had a nasty experience on the bus last Friday, I realise that I am better asking him to take me than sitting on a bus next to a man who was rather rude and wanted more of my seat than I was prepared to give - I'm sure you can work out what I mean!

Hope you have a terrific Tuesday - we are still waiting for the rain - but it has been promised.  M xx

P.S.  Back home now - ears done, lunch eaten, which was very pleasant and now I am about to clean our patio.
