Have a Heart
We slept well last night. The thunder storm missed us. There was rain off and on all day. When hubby came downstairs and looked out the window, he saw that our BIL had caught a varmint but it wasn’t a ground hog. These “have a heart” traps allow one to relocate pests to uninhabited parts of the forest. We tried to call our mother but she wasn’t available, well our sister Barbara had the phone in the car and our mother was at their home. Hopefully we can chat with her tomorrow. My sister made us delicious asparagus soup for lunch, substituting most of the potatoes with broccoli and cauliflower. She started repotting her flowers. She will hold off putting anything in her front pots until the ground hogs are relocated. Our BIL trimmed the lawn and helped the neighbor with a plumbing issue. Hubby practiced his banjo lessons. I made a marinara sauce with Italian sausage to put over our zoodles for a low carb dinner. Sugar kept me busy with walks. We sat outside in between raindrops to enjoy the lovely breeze. Hoping you find time to enjoy nature. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by.
