Bristol

Actually I am home  now but here are a couple of pix from Easton where Will lives. It's a very interesting area - very multi- cultural and an is heady mix of derelict and gentrification - people as well as buildings. There is an amazing Asian supermarket, a posh organic bread shop, lots of little Indian restaurants,  several temples, a Baptist church, a vegan cafe and shop, and some wild graffiti and murals. This is the train station where I was confused as to how to pay. No one on the station or on the train. At temple Meads I accosted a conductor and explained I had no ticket. Would you like me to sell you one? yes please! The city was a bit of a shock after Cornwall but I still walked miles. What most impressed me were the loos in the Watershed - rainbow coloured cubicles, spotlessly clean with the simple sign All Welcome. Why can't all life be so straight forward!
