All aboard

Mostly spent today packing, studying my list of "What to pack", standing looking blankly at my panniers in brain-fog, and then repacking, then convincing myself that actually I'm allowed to trust my list.

After lunch I took Fidra for her MOT, but the traffic was so bad I was 5 minutes late, and the lady on the desk scolded me and went to check with the mechanics. I didn't realise they ran quite such a tight ship. In the end it took an hour and a half to get done, so I went to a cafe for a decaf and to study our map for Holz, then clumped around the place, including the town's old railway platforms that are well preserved. Fidra passed but with one or two things to sort for next time.

After all that I headed to the office to pick up my sandals which I forgot to take with me last time. The bypass was incredibly busy and I had to fiilter like a mad thing for miles and miles.

Back home, stir fry for tea, hair washing, more packing and I think we're about ready.
