It was Brian's Saturday in work this morning. I pottered around at home and had a walk out to buy couscous for my tea as it was one of the many things Morrisons didn't have, and that I forgot to get on Thursday. 

Once Brian was back we put the washing on and had a quick lunch before going out to Boultham Park to look for Blips. I took a few photos on my camera but it was really messing about and not focusing properly. I need a new one really.

The insect is an Oedemera Nobilis, also known as a false oil beetle or thick thigh beetle. It was like a brilliant emerald on the gold of the buttercup, and more precious by far!

From there we called in to Aldi for a few bits of shopping, including Red wine! We were home in time for the first rugby league match on TV today. Castleford v Leeds, and it's been a good game so far. Our match against Catalan Dragons is on later...
