Meet Bess

Bess has accompanied Monica and Chloe to visit Margret this weekend. Bess is 14 years old and is very lively for her age. Her mother is 17!

I have continued to work on both studies. It has been very satisfying but there have been a few surprises. There are boxes with paintings that I had forgotten about. Some are now hung on the walls.

The biggest surprise was a box containing 10 bottles of wine from who knows how many years ago! I’ve opened a bottle of Merlot. It’s palatable but has little flavour. Oh dear!

Monica and Chloe (dil and granddaughter) took Margret to Wallington today and they went inside the house. This was a great success and they report that Margret was managing her wheelchair much more competently than previously. Practice works.

It was good to catch up.

(I had a letter 2 days ago to say that I do not have a TV licence! The previous licence was in Mum’s name. I have corrected this error and I am now legal!!)
