Fuzzy
My brain that is.
Once again I woke at 3.30, did some more French and eventually got up at 6.45. I'd rather have slept till 6.30!
Swam and bought a couple of cheap loaves at Tesco. Did some more of Mum's photos and checked that the Frame Shop was open (an English bank holiday, you can never tell.) I'd already remembered the PO would be shut. But the Frame Shop was open, so wrapped up the picture and the new piece and headed off to Newington. I was back by 11.30.
The forecast had been for a couple of hours sun and then rain. However, the rain didn't materialise till later though it was very, very windy. I planted some of the new plants, and a few seeds and I actually got the grass cut. It was all going so well.
Went in to check my phone and oh no, a message from C who I should have been meeting at the Portrait Gallery Cafe at 12,30. It was after 2! I had completely forgotten, partly because I didn't write it down anywhere. Apologetic phone call followed and we've rearranged for next week. It has been recorded in multiple places.
The weather had begin to go downhill and I also had a scheduled (not forgotten) catch up with E. During that L phoned so that was a call back after to discuss the now dog centred arrangements for the 6 June.
Weather still hadn't improved so I cleaned the back door and started on the next task, takin up the Uniqlo trousers I bought a few weeks ago, 11 cms. Just pinned so far but they will be shortened. I've ordered a green pair too. In the middle of that an email from the Vivid about final sae items. I've bought another one. I do like glass art.
Watched Springwatch and PanAm 103. And looked for a non existent paper ticket that is a virtual one, which I do have. Yes, my head is going fuzzy.
However, I really do like my fly screen door. It works brilliantly and Willow has become very adept at pushing her way in and out.
