Set In Stone

I was sitting in the sunshine on a bench outside the Town Hall in Kelso, eating an ice cream (salted caramel from Becatelli's, the best in the Borders) when it occurred to me that I haven't taken any photographs for days. So I snapped what was in front of me - the motto of the borough, set into the paving. Good advice.

I had my 'big' camera with me last week when we were in Tighnabruich, and even got it out once or twice.  When I got home I realised that my new laptop doesn't have a slot for the memory card. Now I've got a new one, and managed to download my pictures, so I'm putting one of the puffer departing in clouds of very atmospheric smoke, because I like it!
