White Campion

Silene alba

This morning was pretty damp.  I got my blip early, thinking the rain was going to continue all day, but by mid afternoon it had semi cleared up.  Still, here you are, white campion seen on a short and very local walk looking a bit drowned.  As I was taking it I thought of the camera shop telling me my Fuji was growing mould inside.  I reckon by now the Olympus is probably doing the same!

The rest of the day's been pretty quiet.  I've spent a good chunk of it playing kennel maid to my kids' dogs, all three of them.  Am thinking up a suitable revenge   ;-D

In a few minutes I'll be putting up the results of WFW25_08.  As you know, Nicoiseannie and ApolloFly are very kindly hosting us through June and I have to say that as well as being very grateful to them, I can't wait to see what differences two fresh pairs of eyes will have on the challenge.  Thank you both.
