A morning without
sunshine seems so lack lustre -
May we please have sun?

I was on my way to Mission Flats at 5:30. Traffic was light. I almost had the roads all to myself. 

I stopped near the rail crossing for a look back at my mountains and a view along the Thompson River. 

At the end of the road I had a look at the osprey nest. I see activity there which is encouraging. My telephoto is stretched to get shots of the nest. 

I was interested to see a small red helicopter working around the river and the delta. I suspect it is the mosquito control spraying the flood zones. It had something hanging underneath and it would come back to the airport, presumably to refill. 

I'm home until after lunch when I take my leave for the weekend. Looking forward to leaving the paperwork behind.
