The first leg of the journey
Today started with my B12 injection. I was seen 10 minutes ahead of schedule.
I called into Tesco for a few items. There were long queues at the checkouts, which was frustrating for us all.
I finished tidying the house and finished knitting the blanket that was on my needles. I wanted to bring the needles away to start something new.
It has been a cold and wet day. This made the drive to Stirling harder than it could have been. I was surprised by the volume of traffic on the M74 and very pleased to arrive at my Airbnb.
It is not quite what I expected from the description. I was cold when I arrived and there is no heating on here. It is June after all! Thankfully there is a little electric heater in my room and I sat huddled over it!
My meal at the River House was pretty good. How prices have risen. The prawn cocktail was excellent. The chicken stuffed with haggis was delicious, but the seasonal vegetables let it down.
The fish in my blip is in the entrance to the restaurant.
I’m hoping for better weather tomorrow.
