Brave or Arrogant?

I was trying to get rid of some of the weed and Parrot Feather weed  .... and rescue the stupid tadpoles that insisted on swimming into the net (joined by a young newt at one point) when this character popped up - and just stayed there.
At that point SWMBO appeared and offered to go and get the camera.
I was amazed it stayed where it was - especially when the camera arrived and I started moving the ornamental grass to get a better view. 
It didn't move as I moved the lens closer and closer.... 4 shots here)
I gave up and moved away before it did.

There was a trip to the dump to get rid of the old freezer and other stuff.
As we turned into the yard I was amazed at how few skips there were.
It is getting beyond a joke. They appear to have completely done away with 'General Waste' so stuff is just going anywhere.
