Pink elderflower...
Early rise as Dean the roofer was starting work on the pool and garden room roofs.
We discovered a problem with both roofs recently (we inspect them regularly as they are flat roofs, which tend to be problematic) Dean was the original contractor who worked on the roof and he was very unhappy with what was happening. He contacted the manufacturer who, to our amazement, admitted there was a fault in their materials and have supplied all that's needed to replace both roofs.
We're not worried about using the same supplier as they are a good company with a good reputation and were keen to right the wrong.
The sunshine has returned and after lunch D was playing golf locally. I spent some time in the study working on the joint project between Blip Pal P and me.
When D returned from golf we sat in the side garden for a little while enjoying the warm sunshine. The pink elderflower is just coming into bloom and looked lovely in the sun so that's my blip.
D forgot to defrost Lola's dinner so I gave her some poached chicken breast, mashed sweet potato (cold) and chopped tomato, red pepper and cucumber. She enjoyed it very much! If there had been a pattern on her dish she would have licked it off!
After dinner I attempted to get my backblips done. I was almost at the end of Saturday's (lots of info about our trip to Perth Art Gallery) when I accidentally closed the lid of my lap top and lost it all. I may have said a bad word or three.
So now I am getting today's done then will have to complete my online Tesco order (yes, somehow it is Wednesday again!) so will try again tomorrow with the back blips and catch up with journals.
PS Alan is having a fabulous time on holiday as you can see in the extra :-))
