Southern Magnolia

Or perhaps it should be ‘magnificent magnolia’ - an enormous flower. We were in a botanical garden. Enjoyed a light lunch with figs fresh from their trees, and Jersey Royal potatoes dug up this morning.

Prior to that we had a dip in the sea and a walk along the beach.

This evening there was a salsa party at the Lido. Not quite the city salsa scene R is used to but it was fun. I had a beginner’s lesson. I don’t think it’s for me. Took my very uncomfortable shoes off and stood outside enjoying the rain while R had a few nice partner dances. .

Oh wow are we tired though! Tea and toast and falling asleep mid blip!
