A warm summer rain
filled my world and spotted my
dear, old camera

I was out the door before 5:30. I have to be at the office at 8 this morning so this is really an EB before breakfast.

I drove off to Tranquille with some hopes for big horn sheep, but none were available for portraits today. A very long freight train moving incredibly slowly took up so much of the available hillside. The sheep wouldn't want to be there

I drove to the end of the road to spy on the osprey. I counted three heads at some point. I watched one strip a fish on the side of the nest. The mosquitoes found me quickly, so I moved on.

I got a long shot of Tranquille Farm across the wetlands pond and my mountains in the east. A closer look of catchfly was achieved while batting mosquitoes and wiping off the raindrops.

I will be home with my feet up as soon as I'm finished at the office this morning. We're adding some security fencing at the perimeter.
