Fog settled in the
valleys overnight making
morning magical

~carliewired

No rocket start for me leaving the house at 7. The fog along the river was lifting as I drove off to McArthur Island Park. My mountains seemed to float above the valleys.

I stopped at the entrance to the park to get a shot towards the river. The reflections in the slough are crystal clear today.

The marmots along the river bank were very active. They sprawl on the playing fields devouring the grass, then bound back to the bank when something disturbs them. I found them in curious poses.

Three ladies were walking along the Rivers Trail when they came to a flock of Canada geese on the walkway. I watched to see what would happen. One lady veered way off the trail to avoid the geese, while the two ladies continued through the flock which parted for them. One can never be sure what 'cobra chickens' will do when confronted.

I picked up my groceries before heading home. Now, the cranky feet get the rest of the day off.
