Wet Shoes

I tell them to a) keep their shoes on and b) take them off at the back door.
What they actually do is a) take them off as soon as they get outside and b) leave them there.
So we have wet red shoes which have been out all night.
And red wet wellies too but I'll save them for another day.
It's been quiet today. We were due to meet Mrs R at Stowe but the weather put paid to that plan. I don't mind walking in the rain but with whingy damp children it didn't seem worth the bother!
So after swimming we went to Tescos to pick up some ingredients for Nigella Lawson's chocolate brownies. Oh my goodness they're yummy!!!
And really easy to make with the Little Misses. Lots of measuring, stirring and spoon licking. And gluten free too. Perfect!
We made them after lunch. Before lunch they wrapped themselves up in a duvet and watched Tangled and ate popcorn we'd made.
They have a hard life don't they?!!
