Red sky at night

I was going to post the photo of Sullivan's Pond, then I looked out the window at the sky, a beautiful sunset tonight. I added the photo of Sullivan's Pond in the extras.
Normally the water flows over the fish ladders but construction downstream combined with the drought has lowered the water level by almost 2 feet. It is a sad situation for the wildlife that make the pond their home.
Some areas received some rain last night, other areas got almost nothing. It rained here for about an hour overnight, but not even enough to register on my rain gauge. I only know it rained because the pavement was wet when I looked out the window at 12:30. It had already started to dry when I was awake again at 2 am.
The Susie Lake fire is under control now. I had to travel close to the area for work today, it was cloudy this morning and sunny this afternoon. I expected to see some smoke this afternoon, but could see nothing. The fire in West Dalhousie is still out of control.
