A Mixed Bag
We rotated the mattress this morning .... not (quite) as hard as we expected.
I grabbed some shots of the Cyclamen while hanging out the washing.
Then we went for a walk and stopped off the let the SIL that he wasn't required to spin the mattress.
There was a quick shop and a drop off of used coffee pods.
We came home with some flowers for SWMBO's pleasure ... and of course I took some shots of them.
I spent an hour in the garage .... using free electricity apparently.
Shortly after that we got a visit from a neighbour letting us know that she had seen somebody cutting the chain off the gate onto the playing field and 3 'traveller' vans drive on.
By the time I went down there with the camera there were 13 of them ... complete with caravans, pick-ups, dogs, hens .... a pony and trap (wrecking the cricket pitch)...........
The 'Non Emergency' police number had a long waiting time apparently and when I tried the direct line, it was not available ... and according to the interweb the police station was shut until tomorrow --- which is bollox - it is open 24 hours, 365 days a year (talk about trying to avoid work).
I drove down and was told to take a seat ..... while the WPC on the desk took a complaint of racial harassment on a bus ... in Edinburgh ... several days ago ... on her phone! There was no attempt to find out what I was there about or get one of the several laughing people in the control room to find out what I was there about! Boy - standards have slipped gone to the dogs.
When I got home I went and took several pictures (which didn't go down very well with some of the 'new residents'). Apparently SWMBO had taken some video while I was twiddling my thumbs at the police station. That didn't go down well either apparently.
Todays pictures are Here
